The Recreation Committee develops recreational activities designed to build community and enrich the quality of life in Shutesbury. The Committee sponsors and supports recreational experiences and related educational programming for all age groups.
Ultimate Pick-up Games
These games are on Mondays at 5:30 behind the Fire Station.
You don't have to be an expert Ultimate player to join in. Even if it's your first time ever, with a little bit of coaching, you'll be right in the game.
All ages are welcome!
Shootsbury Soccer Club
This casual soccer meet-up is open to ages 3 to 10 and takes place Sundays from 9-10 AM at the Shutesbury Elementary School.
This a fantastic opportunity for children and families to get active, enjoy the outdoors, and meet new friends in our community. Best of all, it is completely free and no registration is required.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at recreation@shutesbury.org.

Whether you knit, crochet, darn, needlepoint, embroider or do any other type of stitching, please join us. This activity is co-sponsored by the Shutesbury Public Library and the Recreation Committee. Stitch-Ins will be held every Friday unless the library is closed.
